We hope that LeadershipX will create opportunities for you as a volunteer leader to grow stronger in your leadership abilities while deepening your relationship with Jesus. For the next year, you are invited to take a deeper dive into who we are as a church so that you can take the ownership of our mission to a new level.
We are committed to walking alongside you to further develop the gifts God has given you. If you have any questions about the program, feel free to reach out to your campus pastor.

Throughout the program, we'll be challenging you to keep sharpening your leadership skills in a variety of ways. Below is a list of assignments that you'll need to complete throughout LeadershipX.
Throughout the LeadershipX season, you will be responsible to listen to at least one episode of one of the podcasts listed below each month.
Another self-assessment option is Eagle Brook's Spiritual Gifts Assessment. A spiritual gift is a special ability given by the Holy Spirit to every believer when they put their faith in Christ. Take a moment to complete the Spiritual Gifts Assessment and determine your top gifts. The assessment also helps you identify your passions and abilities to help connect you to applicable opportunities at Eagle Brook.
Take the AssessmentThe I Said This, You Heard That® series of resources will change every conflict and conversation you have—for good.
The workbook includes a 40-question assessment, discussion questions, exercises and reading that complement six sessions of teaching videos—available on DVD or free on the I Said This, You Heard That study app. This is the same resource under the "required readings" tab in the previous section.
If you chose to read StrengthsFinder 2.0, we encourage you to follow up by completing the CliftonStrengths online talent assessment. This assessment allows for you to discover what you naturally do best, learn how to develop your greatest talents, and use your customized results to live your best life.
One of the best ways to develop in your leadership abilities is to shadow other people who are currently in a leadership role at Eagle Brook. Throughout LeadershipX, we'd like for you to spend time with three different Eagle Brook staff members. Get to know them, learn more about their role, and see them in action. Then, use your LeadershipX notebook to reflect on your experience.
Your time with God should include Bible reading and prayer. You may use a print version of the Bible, the Eagle Brook app or the YouVersion app. Maintaining a daily time with God is one of the hallmarks of great leadership. It’s a habit that will serve you well throughout your life. If daily time with God is new to you, start slow (15 minutes a day at the same time and place). If you’re already in the habit of spending time with God each day, review what you do during that time to determine if it’s meeting your needs at this point in your life. Look in your LeadershipX Notebook for some pages to guide you in your thinking.
Utilize your notebook to record meeting notes, inspirational thoughts from your reading assignments, quotes you want to remember from podcasts and your own thoughts as you reflect on what you are learning. You will find some pages to help you reflect on your book and podcast reviews, shadowing experiences and quiet times, along with other topics to maximize your learning throughout this experience.
