Day 5

You’ve almost completed your journey!
But today you’ve stumbled on a campsite and discovered signs of other travelers. They’ve left drawings, parts of songs, and a code to decipher. Can you figure out its meaning?

Draw It

Grab a pen or pencil, paper, and your imagination to draw these things:

  • Your dream home
  • Your family
  • A great memory you have
  • A feast of all your favorite foods

Start a Band

Every adventure needs some good music. Make some instruments with the ideas below, then write a song, and have a concert in your home. You could even create a picture for your album cover.

  • Cut a hole in a cereal box and stretch 3-5 rubber bands around the box for an instant guitar.
  • Make drums out of chip cans or lids and cymbals out of unused CDs.
  • Make your own microphone out of cardboard or paper.

Look It Up

Read Ephesians 2:1-10 and talk about these questions.

  • These verses say you were created and designed by God. Try drawing a picture of yourself, then read verse 10 again out loud.
  • What is something you love about the way God made you?
  • What do the words “grace” and “mercy” mean? How do these verses say God showed us grace and mercy?
  • What’s one way you could show grace or mercy today?

Watch the Winter Camp at Home Show

Watch today's video to learn about the purpose God has given you, and to get the key to cracking this code.
