Lead A Group

“Come follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”
(Matthew 4:19)

Small group leaders help create environments for people to connect and grow in their relationship with Christ. You don’t need to be an expert in the Bible to lead—if you have a personal relationship with Christ and a willingness to facilitate discussion, you can lead a group. We’ll provide training and resources along the way!

Frequently Asked Questions
If you have a relationship with Jesus Christ and are committed to living the lifestyle He calls us to follow, then yes! You don’t need to have all the answers or know the Bible inside and out. We’ll provide you with all the resources and support you need to lead your group well.

Each group should spend time hanging out, going through a study together (a book of the Bible or a topical study), and praying for one another. You are free to use your gifts and interests to help determine when and where your group meets and what they meet about.

We'll help you each step of the way! You'll have the opportunity to meet with the Pastor of Groups at your campus as often as you need. This person is your #1 resource and will be your go-to for any questions you have. Their desire is to help you lead your group well and grow as a leader. Throughout the year, they will also gather all group leaders from your campus for trainings and time to connect with other leaders.

You’ll also have access to our small group leader website and RightNow Media, our online library of curriculum. Think of it like the Netflix of Bible studies!

Lastly, group leaders are invited to attend Refuel, our annual church-wide group leader event, designed to help you grow as a leader and refuel you with encouragement and resources.
