renewed. refreshed. forever changed.
Baptism is a public declaration of your faith—a step of obedience in your walk with Jesus that invites his blessings into your life. If this is your next step, we'd love to celebrate with you at an upcoming baptism. Baptism services are held twice a year (winter and summer). If you have questions about baptism, read through these FAQs.
upcoming baptism: july 17, 2016

Join us at 2 or 4:30 pm for an outdoor baptism at Lake Johanna on the University of Northwestern-St. Paul campus.

Kids & Baptism at Eagle Brook

For infants and children who have not yet completed first grade:
Scripture provides evidence that baptism follows an individual’s personal decision to trust Jesus alone for salvation. Rather than baptizing infants or young children, Eagle Brook encourages parents to dedicate their children. This is a ceremony in which parents formally call upon God’s blessing for their child and publicly commit to raise him or her in accordance with scripture. Click here to learn more about our upcoming Parent/Child Dedication Weekend.

For kids who have completed first-fifth grade:
We want to make sure that your kids understand what baptism is (and isn't) and why it's important. If your child has made the decision to follow Jesus and wants to be baptized:

  • Watch the Baptism for Kids video with your child.
  • Register for baptism.
  • Have your child meet with a kids' pastor at your campus. With the approval of the kids' pastor, your child will be able to participate in baptism.
